Annette, I am with you and the polish on the kids. When they are little it is sooo much fun to dress them up and do girly things with them. I use to do that with my neice who is now almost 28! Time flies to fast! Now she has a 10 year old daughter of her own. I love to do the same thing with her but I don't get to see her to much. You know how they are at that age~so much social life to have! When I was 10 I was just a little kid with jumping rope and doing kid stuff. Another flight in time I guess.  I would love to just wear a little boys T-shirt. It sure would save me the hassle of figuring out this bra situation. haha

Good Morning, All Brenda, thank you for starting the thread.  I've only managed it once, a long time ago, when the kitties were particularly restless... It's been a strange couple of weeks here.  Which comes first, the blahs or the fatigue???  I get the blahs, sit on my butt, and feel absolutely wrung out!  Or, I feel exhausted, so I sit on my butt, and feel even more exhausted.  I've decided that it must have something to do with my butt.  Or what's left of it.... Anyhow, got home from work yesterday, determined to break the pattern, changed into gardening clothes, and finally planted every single thing I still had in pots or that was sitting to the side to be re-planted.  And that included quite a few things, as a friend talked me into stopping at this "nice little Mom and Pop nursery" on my day off Wednesday.  I got everything in!  For the first time this year!  Then I watered, treated my numerous  mosquito bites, colored my hair (too dark this time), cleaned up, and sat on that same butt!  Butt...What a feeling of accomplishment!  Today if I can beat the rain, I have to spray some things, as I have bugs.  Sorry, TMI???  At least the bugs are on the plants, not on me... I may hit a few yard sales this am, as I can NEVER have too many clothes...  Tomorrow I'll mow if it's dry, and pack, 'cause I"M GOING TO SEE MY GRANDSON on Wednesday!!!!  Will also see his parents, and my other son will be visiting at the same time.  I really miss them, and it's been 6 months since I've seen the little one.   Plane fare was atrocious.  More than double what I usually pay.  So I'll work extra to cover it.  We're down 2 nurses at work, and there's lost of OT posted, although it's always at inconvenient times.  But it's worth it. I hope everyone has a great weekend, and the weather cooperates with your plans.  It's supposed to rain here....again. Candy

Good morning Brenda and all,  you made me giggle this am with "tucking in the girls" I have to do the same thing, but figured out my bra is getting too loose now, so will need to look for a new one soon. I know JC Penneys used to do Bra fittings as did Carsons. But I looked in the JCP catalog it says to (1) measure around the chest under the arms above the bust. (2) then measure the fullest part of the bust, then subtract measurement 1 from measurement 2. If there is 1 inch difference cup size=A    2 Inch difference =B , each 1 inch difference between the two adds a cup size. Hope this helps.  We're off soon to run some errands then back to the remodeling job in our master bedroom. Have a great day, Paulette

Thanks so much for the information, Paulette. I am going to give it a try and see if it works.

Hi Brenda and everyone: We had a big storm here last night when I was at work; the rain just poured down. It was funny because our night editor quipped that we should make sure the weather map doesn't say snow for tomorrow. We've had that gaffe in the paper a couple times in the past month ... our local TV station does the weather map and occasionally their template leaves snow in the forecast and whoever was proofing it didn't catch it and it went through; once, it was caught by the production guy in the backshop and we were able to fix it, but a couple times it was in the paper. The weather guy is retiring, so we were especially vigilant last night in case he decided to pull a fast one on us.  No reviews all week, so we got out relatively early last night. Got home and watched the Sox-Cubs game that I had recorded ... Sox won, 10-3, and I'm sure you were just as happy as I was, Brenda.  One of the things I failed to mention about my checkup yesterday was my bloodwork showed I was deficient in Vitamin D. This is the first time they've checked Vit. D levels, but they are going to check them more often because of the importance of this vitamin to bone health. So now I have to take 1000 iu of Vit. D daily. So I have to go buy this. She said it's quite common for people in West Michigan to be deficient in Vit. D because of the lack of sunshine (especially in winter), and I'm not one to sit outside a lot because I'm so fair-skinned ... even when I do go outside, I'm wearing sunscreen because I burn, I don't tan.  No big plans; I'm going to the store to use my gift card ... the problems were cleared up and it's now loaded. I'm going to get a rotisserie chicken for dinner for one thing; they also have ground sirloin on sale, so I'll buy some of that for future use. And my Vit. D, of course.  Then I'm going to watch the Sox-Cubs game, and some other baseball maybe tonight; and maybe another episode of John Adams. Same for tomorrow ... baseball and more baseball, a little housework (very little), reading, relaxing, getting rested up for the long work week because next week I'm working six days. Got to love the extra money, though. Have a good day. Happy birthday, Laureen!

I was somewhere last night when I heard that the sox won. Bill was with me and we looked at each other and just said YESSSSSSS! I knew they had it in them. Why do people question? My sister is a cubs fan (why?) and she said the other day that the cubs were winning alot and they are a better team. I said that the Sox are doing REALLY good this season. She said something sarcastic and then I looked at her and said "Hmmmm, what team is still working on the chanpionship? Oh yeah! THE CUBS!!" She shut her mouth real fast then.

Hey Brenda, just got done watching the Sox ... beat the Cubs again. Yes, the Sox, who already have a World Series championship in this century and THE CUBS DO NOT! Go Sox! They made me a little nervous, of course, when Derrek Lee doubled to start off the ninth, but then Bobby Jenks put the other guys away. Whew! Wow, what a great game! Gotta love our rookies, Alexei Ramirez and Carlos Quentin. So exciting, but it was storming here at the time near the end of the game and I thought we were going to lose the cable.  As for the bra thing, I got measured once at Victoria Secret after I had lost most of my weight, and she told me I was a 42C (I was wearing a 38D at the time). She sniffed and said, "You'll have to go to Lane Bryant to buy a bra, we don't sell your size here." I said to her, "I don't buy things at Lane Bryant anymore, I'm not wearing plus sizes anymore. And I would never buy anything here, you're too expensive!" And I wanted to add, they put too much smelly stuff on it, but didn't. ...  I'm still in a 38 bra but wear a DD because the hanging boobs don't squish into a D cup very well, so it's much easier to squish them into a DD.  Well, off to watch the Brewers-Twins, to see if the Brewers can beat the Twins at least and get us some breathing room in the AL Central.
